SA Aeropress Championship Competition Entry Ticket

Enter the South African Aeropress Championship 2026

Compete in the 2026 South African Aeropress Championship, held at the La Marzocco Showroom, 375 Albert Rd, Woodstock, on Saturday 17 October. 

Your entry includes 250g of practice coffee, delivered to your door by 9 October, so you can prepare with the exact beans you'll use on the day. Details will be emailed. 

The winner goes on to compete at the World Aeropress Championship hosted in Mexico City on Sunday, 6 December.

La Marzocco South Africa Showroom, The Old Biscuit Mill, 373 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town.

TIMES

• 4PM: Doors open

• 4:15PM: Competitor briefing

• 5PM: Competition starts

PARKING: Paid parking at The Old Biscuit Mill, subject to availability. Street parking is limited, so arrive early.

SPECTATORS: Additional tickets will also be sold at the door for R50. Enjoy games, prizes, food and drinks.

Competitors read this

Each 20-minute round includes 5 minutes of official brewing time. Judges taste blind, and winners advance through elimination rounds until one South African champion remains.

Fresh competition coffee and official BWT water are provided. No water additives are permitted. Arrange any ice with Kerry in advance; it must be made with official BWT water only.

Bring your genuine AeroPress Original or Clear, grinder, filter and serving vessel. Scales, single-dose grinders, pouring kettles and serving bowls will be available.
